Jealous. Suzannah and I just blew all our money on a new PC, up next...PS4.

Your post jogged my memory, I have to remind Suzannah to bring home a copy of Last of Us.

on one hand I want a bigger tv so my lounge looks more sussed... but I'm kinda tired of spending shitloads on stuff that I never use and just gets owned all day by my flatmates and their mates, so I'm sort of on the fence. If I find a sweet one for 400-ish I might grab it

Good flatmates are awesome as fuck. You know what would suck? Having a flatmate who tried to pull that "nah I bought the TV/Xbox/dildo machine that sits in the middle of the lounge so I get to do shit with it over you".

Even with my comment above, if you don't want your shit used, chuck it in your room.

Starting to turn into trivial irritations.

New GPU (GTX660Ti)
SSD (Samsung 840 120GB)
New CPU (3.2 i7, freebie from a mate)

Only took about 5 minutes to install windows from a flash drive to my SSD. Hell of a lot of work getting everything back the way I like it though.

Got a Hitachi short throw interactive projector at work. Never thought I'd get excited over a projector, but fuck this thing is cool.

Barco moving head projector, its only a 12K so it doesnt get close to the 20K units out there but still bright enough.
Gets its content from Cuelab off a mac mini, using a small laptop to control some basic functions and then the rest is controlled from an ETC ION

Ha, that does look sweet. Not so useful for me, but impressive kit.

This is what we've got: http://dmd.hitachi-america.us/products/consumer/digitalmedia/lcd_projectors/lineup/details/CP-AW2519N.php

Wasn't so sure about the interactive side of things at first, but after busting out some mad xxxl GIS and modeling in the board room for the big wigs, can see it's gonna be pretty damn useful. The handwriting/text recognition/conversion also seems pretty impressive so far.

Had a hoon on a pair of those at a Hyper-X booth recently, pretty nice alright. Came across this monstrosity the other day in a store made me loal.
