Re: Assassins Creed 2
Been cranking this for a few days, really really good. Vast improvement over the first, which I quite enjoyed... flawed and tedious as it got, the story was compelling, and it was still quite fun.

Re: Assassins Creed 2
next game on my list. got about 100 hours to throwdown on fallout3 first

Have they improved the 'open world' aspects of the game?

Hey bro, yeh finally got around to playing this after Bioshock and Dead Space.
Its pretty repetitive huh, ha. I just enjoy jumping on and off stuff.
Will probably duke it out over the next few days to finish before my wedding on the weekend (will probably say goodbye to late evening/night videogaming after that)
Re: Assassins Creed 2
Just finished the flying machine mission, was pretty sweet.
Re: Assassins Creed 2
Just pulled an all nighter on this.
Fucking amazing game, done fuck all of it though. Been busy with side missions and trying to find all the glyphs.

Game of the year? Unless there's something I'm forgetting, I'm calling it.

Gotta say it's up there for GOTY for me too. Well it's a close 4 way between ACII, Infamous, Blazblue and SF4 haha.
Re: Assassins Creed 2
I'm inclined to agree too. I'm almost finished it now I think (gotta find two codec pieces I've missed around the place before I can proceed), but yeah.. super compelling. And surprisingly educational

depressing shit man
Re: Assassins Creed 2
Any idea what the last weapon is? the Staff?
that end game/credits sequence was great. More games need to do that.... like the beach fistfight at the end of The Warriors game.

Re: Assassins Creed 2
Just got it, it's the Condottiero War Hammer.
Was hoping it was gonna be the staff eh, gutted you couldn't grab it out of the ground.
