Yeah played it for a bit, I can see the attraction in it but it didn't really hook me.

Didn't help I just got the TWD: Season 2 for the Vita couple days later.
I guess you really need to ask yourself... What Would Graeme Do?

Fuck, dragon age is the most time consuming game I've played in a while, apparently it's about 60-70 hours to complete.

Bit of a gaming n00b here... Got an ekbok freesikty a few months ago (went cheap when One came out). Lately been hooning Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag (rules), Don Bradman Cricket 14, Warface (free online shooter, closing in Feb though), Toy Soldiers: Cold War... Was also playing a bit of GTA V a while ago. Looking for a good/realistic war shooter. Any recommendations? Been thinking Battlefield 3 (apparently way better than 4?) or Medal of Honor: Warfighter. hu btr?

Also really into Company of Heroes 2, which I just play on my Mac occasionally. (Yeah yeah PC btr i noe but reason Mac not for gaeming.) Fucking sweet game though.

Umm a bit of both I reckon. Apparently MoH has a better single player game huh? Last one I played was Bad Company 2, mainly because I wanted the Vietnam extension (which I later realised was multiplayer only, and no one's playing it anymore lol). Quite like historical war games... Current is good too, I'm just not too into crazy futuristic/fantasy stuff. In saying that, I wonder if the new CoD is any good...? I've got Titanfall too, but never really play it. It was pretty cool at first but got over it pretty quick. Would be better if it had offline/single player available I reckon.

Noticed Video Ezy Ponsonby had a closing down sale (when I happened to be across the road sipping espresso, sitting cross-legged European style), so had a look and managed to grab MoH Warfighter, Battlefield 3, Sniper 2 and AC IV: Black Flag (borrowed the one I've been playing) all for $10ea and in great condition. Really enjoying MoH so far.

Currently at a point where new video games just don't do it for me and I can no longer happily waste a few hours every night gaming, I can still enjoy childhood games for nostalgia but there's only so many times I can replay Majora's Mask before getting the feeling that I have all the spare time in the world and nothing to do.

Competitive games are still fun when playing with friends, but without the social element it wouldn't be such a time sink, currently playing CS:GO most nights.

tried the Souls series? I haven't played another game for 225 game hours now. It creeps into the subconscious and remains immersive throughout

That's pretty great, always good to take a break from the game grind for a bit.
I didn't play much for a year or two and then got keen again. I still don't really enjoy 'wasting' time with AAA 'collect all the animal furs!' for 100 hours time-sink fests though, but can't say I miss it.
Edit: this is meaningful because in the past I would happily try to 100% everything, just because

ive had warfighter for a while, its a good game, i have another war game, i forget which, im not really that into them, i think i either finished warfighter pathetically quickly, or in a different sort of pathetic display i gave up too easy, im pretty sure the former, cos i know i didnt play much of the other one i have, which i think is a call of duty, i can never remember, they are all the same.
loved far cry 3 tho, will be getting 4 when i have more money and spare time im sure.

i prefer my fps to be a little bit sci fi, why limit yourself to boring old reality.

mostly i just wish i could still play quake or urban terror, but if i manage to set any of that up theres just shit players and bots...

one of the best things about those games was that everyone who played was actually pretty old, all the kids play xbox etc, urban terror was most 30+ i actually miss it a lot, as much as i used to miss quake, haha, what else is there in that vein these days?
i know all those guys are still playing something.

^ Counter Strike on Steam is buzzing along pretty well, if you're looking for an old-school feel that's probably 'the' one at the moment. Might take you a while to find people to play with who you like/ are in your age group or whatever, but after a few rounds you should have a good idea of whose games to join.

Yeah I link that to any of my friends who say they're getting amped to buy the order.
I just bought a PS4.
Still mainly game on pc, but all my workmates are playing evolve on ps4, so I've joined the club... it's aight. Game is better than it was in beta, but some definite balance issues

finished Dark Souls 3 times now, moved backwards to Demon's Souls. Feels more brutal and the levels are far more stretched out when doing a run at the boss due to lack of bonfire.
