Hardcore Bands need webspace?

Postby andy_ » Thu May 19, 2005 2:03 pm

Just wondering what you are all paying out there for webspace.
With the position i'm in and resources available to me, I' can offer space/mail/unlimited traffic for your songs to be downloaded from your site. etc
I understand it's just another expense when your music doesn't really pay for itself in dollar value. + you would be suprised how much those webhosting companys mark up their prices...

Flick me an email if you think your paying to much or would like a better host.
I can do it free, maybe a donation once a year.

It may be $5 - $20 per year, if it's needed for an upgrade. Non-profitable.

Anyway, purchasing a new server in a weeks time, will be transfering all the sites to the new box.

Cheers.

So what it's free. I hardly ever go to 'normal' band sites anymore and a lot of bands only use myspace now. For example puppykillerrecords.co.nz goes straight to their myspace page

I never said it's not gayer than the gayest thing )o(

Edit: But having said that I make no appologies for using it. I don't have to pay for hosting fees or some IT nerd to update the site everytime I want to change something. I don't really give a fuck who owns it either; i'll keep on using it until they start charging for it.
