Wellington Coalition Against the World Dairy Summit

Film Night: Meat the Truth
Wellington CAWDS invites you to a film night and chat on the 26th of October at Thistle Hall. This event will be a great opportunity to discuss why intensive, corporate dairy is so destructive, and why it’s important that we protest the World Dairy Summit (Auckland, 8-11th of November).

Meat the Truth (2008) is a documentary about the consequences of intensive livestock production, with a focus on the massive contribution of livestock farming to climate change. Meat the Truth draws attention to this by demonstrating that livestock farming generates more greenhouse gas emissions worldwide than all cars, trains, boats and planes put together. This film showing will be followed by speakers and public discussion.

Come along, find out more and get involved!

Tuesday October the 26th, 7-9pm downstairs @ Thistle Hall, Cuba St.

Koha entry, baking provided.
