trademe sometimes has new shoes at a decent price... i grabbed some of these bad boys for $95 including postage...

Image

only just under $100+ tho

and some of these for $107 including postage
Image

other options might include a Dressmart type outlet location... seen some pretty sweet deals there on shoes, but guess it depends on what sort of shoes you're after? i always seem to be able to pick up size 13 shoes as a last of range special at different places... last seasons skate shoes etc

or just wait for a sports store to go bankrupt and buy up at their closing down sale ;)

Those new balances look good, but they don't last very well. The flannel stuff is ripping off on mine.

Been using these guys for years, always got good quality gear thats lasted for ages, especially the boots.

Bit costly but worth it if you want something that's not gonna fall apart after a couple of months, and the NZ dollar is around 44p at the moment.
If we cut up beasts simply because they cannot prevent us and because we are backing our own side in the struggle for existence, it is only logical to cut up imbeciles, criminals, enemies, or capitalists for the same reasons.

like J said, macbeth shoes.

if you go to the Lee outlet store on the corner of ponsonby rd/richmond rd you can get em real cheap.

got me a pair for $40 100% vegan friendly, right down to the glue. Rad skate style shoes, some similar designs to vans and nothing over $100.

just dont get suckered into paying extra for the tegan and sara design. unless you're into that kinda thing.

How do you know yours are Vegan? Not all their shoes are vegan friendly.

Cheers for the info though, on that Lee outlet store, my current Macbeths could do with some brand new friends.

Try www.veganwares.com from melbourne. some of them can be a bit pricey but most of the time you can get them custom made-they're comfy as and will last for ages :D

I just bought a pair of these and they're fantastic. I've been walking through ice and snow no worries:

I used to order the veggie Docs until DM moved their operation to China and stopped making the veggie ones. I have re-soled the uppers several times and they're still in good condition. Vegetan Micro is a pretty comfortable and durable material.

For work I wear Grinders, my last pair that I wore to work everyday in a kitchen lasted almost 4 years. Which is saying alot since kitchens are very hard on your shoes, i.e. fat, oil, solvents, as well as getting them soaked in water all day. the pair I wear to shows have lasted me 12 years. not bad imo.

FYI you cover over the cherry red with black shoe polish and it stains the leather to oxblood for those of you that didn't know

Other than that I wear adidas trainers.

vegetarian-shoes.co.uk have fabulous shoes which are totally vegan and are really good quality. The only killer is the postage - it would be worthwhile putting together a joined order to save on postage, methinks.
