But you seem to be saying that using soap instead of using shampoo is the answer to everyones problems, when clearly it isn't?

yeah - i've switched over to the eco-store dry and damaged (lovely vanilla scented) one - and so far i'm doing fine as long as I use the conditioner everytime i use it.
only problem i've had with the eco-store shampoos is i find because of the cider vinegar they strip artificial color right out.
bonus though - i picked up the matching vanilla soap and it's lovely.

Organics shampoo and conditioner is mean.
i use the dry and damaged one from that lot, chamomile and lemongrass
i sniff the bottle a lot too cos its smells Very Nice. and doesnt fuck up the colour in my hair either.
oh god lets just switch to that girlpunk site and then we can swap knitting patterns too

I didn't know cider vinegar striped colour. I dye my hair black though, and black never seems to come out anyway. I imagine red tones would strip out pretty easily. What do you use to dye your hair?
My hair tends to be too frizzy rather than oily, so I put a little almond oil with a few drops of sandalwood fragrance in it. Smells niiiiice.
I got some of that nice vanilla soap, but it's turned into absolute mush by the side of the bath.

Another tip for the ladies: Living Nature Manuka honey hand and body cream is great to put on your legs after you shave them. Stops shaving rash! (not vegan though obviously).
And when I was having skin sensitivity problems, Living Nature eyeliner was one of the only things I could wear around my eyes. Well worth the $30. Not sure if it contains any honey products though. It does contain paua shell, so I guess it depends where you stand with that one.

I'd urge anyone to not buy procter and gamble products they are such a asshole company www.pandgkills.com if you consider yourself vegan and buy these then your a hypocrite
grrr that kind of attitude kinda pisses me off, yeah sure MAYBE people should avoid a company like that. But really who are you to call people hypocrites, I'm sure you eat/buy stuff which uses animal products or have affiliations with animal testing or what have you.
