Decent restaurants in Auckland

Postby Adamov » Sat Oct 07, 2006 4:10 pm

Does anyone know of good restaurants in Auckland that do good vegan food. I mean good restaurants not just like average asian/indian places. ie. where would you take your parents if they were paying.

Also, they dont have to be vege restaurant just have something good I can eat.

Don't tepan yaki places rock at doing vegies?

They're usually quite flamboyant places. Like Daikoku on customs street or elliot street.

Yeah, but it's all a bit MEAT IN YOUR FACE. And surpringsly anti-social. It sucks talking to people sitting next to you, sitting next to other, being blasted with fire, etc etc.

Yeah, but, like he said, he just wanted a place to take his parents where you can eat things that aren't animal products.

That post makes you sound like a hippy.

LOGOS on Ponsonby Road do a pretty awesome menu with lots of vegan stuff. They usually have a couple of vegan deserts and cakes too
Otherwise me and my b/f usually hit Sawadee Thai or Praego Ittallian resturants who have vegan stuff on the menus. :)
