Re: TV3's new Friday night skit shows

I watched them, thought they were both decent. Skit shows are probably my favourite sort of comedy, and I'd almost given up on NZ thinking we'd become too politically correct to produce any.

Some really stupid jokes, still worth watching.

The people who have barely heard of him but bother to stick around for him anyway will probably enjoy it a lot more than they thought they were going to. Depends who else is on at the same time.

Suspect that Ois II Men were the culprits farting near the stage just before Shitripper started playing. What was for dinner? Didn't really need that burger after all did ya?

Re: 15% of the Internet went down today, attackers blamed

If someone else's DNS server bounces, your DNS server should be able to pick up where it left off once the other DNS server is cranking again. In simple terms, if a DNS server could not resolve a domain name, it will try again each time there's a fresh request from a DNS client. Except, the DNS was...

It doesn't matter what DNS implementation your ISP is using if the authoritative name server for a domain goes down. You still won't be able to resolve anything. The problem with the ISPs isn't when it goes down, it's when it comes back up and the ISP doesn't update their DNS servers. It turns a 2 ...

The first row adds up, but beyond that I can't manage to get it to add up (even when accumlating the interest from years inbetween rows).
