Re: The Mixed Martial Arts Thread

According to the university of the world: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anabolic_steroid#Adverse_effects http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blood_doping#Negative_effects And I agree, weed should be cool - its hardly performance enhancing. Though I just daydreamed of a 'Titans league' no weight classes, no ...

Not having this city soul icon for the RWC is a bit of a worry, tourists from around the world will be here and want to meet aucklands favourite character.

This is going to be just like the indian commonwealth games.

Re: The Mixed Martial Arts Thread

Do what safely???? there are tonnes of banned drugs some worse than others. Blood doping, roids etc being pretty bad imo all the time. Shouldnt it be about who has the most talent/best training/fitness etc as opposed to who has taken the best super drug? Otherwise its just going to be a race to find ...

Barnett, Lol.

Barnett looks like your typical weathered, jaded and aging wrestler who can't throw in the towel. Can imagine him coaching high school/uni wrestling after he retires. Sobbing uncontrolably in the locker room after each practice.

Jordan I realised tonight my favorite technique is omoplata Yeah It's mean, myth bust: you need to be flexible to pull it off. It just requires the correct angle & a bum of steel to drill it lol. Havn't been following UFC's heavyweights much lately, I never really enjoy watching beefcakes slug ...

Yep, R.I.P. Upon hearing of her passing I thought that at least people can now sit on that chair. Actualy not, as it seems the K'road biz group wants to immortalise Aucklands own Mother Theresea in bronze in the form of a life size Margaret, sitting on her old favourite chair. Couldn't they just put...

Re: The Mixed Martial Arts Thread

Haha, there can be 2 divisions anyway plus a mixed one. You're ground isn't awful at all considering you only started end of last year. IMO ground work development is fairly consistant with most people. People initially learn slow because it seems alien to be on your back etc but once the basics are...

Ubereem stz eh Na just the fact eating 6 time a day is eats. I am big enough to lose weight I need 3 decent meals with the normal fruit/up&go/energy drink in between. Not 6 small meals. That whole fact is bullshit unless your going up in the weights. Want to be 95kg Max. Can easily shake it off...

Re: Price of dairy products

People need to eat less Dairy anyway, dairy is a good source of certain nutrition but a tonne of people in NZ make it their diets main staple.

High price is good in that respect, just like high petrol will cause people to ride a bike/get a train

Re: London police issued with hollow point bullets

Yep FTP etc, Thing is, disliking the police and so forth aside. They don't want to kill innocent bystanders - it's not good for their image. I suppose just like the organised crime groups try to keep a low profile in the same sense, so accordingly they probably did some extensive testing on this. I ...

Re: MMA THREAD (UFC/WEC/STRIKEFORCE/DREAM ETC ETC)

Nah, allways had welterweight in UFC,

I welterweight is just really popular, it's not too small...not too big. So power & speed etc.
Welterweight can be anywhere from 71-77 (UFC) or can go to 83 like in pride, or 81 in grappling.
