Re: Kalem

Cheers bois. Pretty rough time for everyone. Thanks to all who helped out financially. Covered all the costs plus some flights for the family. The ceremony yesterday went really good. Good to see a lot of familiar kiwi faces, unfortunate circumstances but good to see them non the less. Im gonna miss...

Re: No DOGS No Masters

My missus got me a Dog Nerf gun. It shoots tennis balls. Its amazing. Unfortunately tennis balls have a short life span around Störtebecker, being a staffie, bur it also shoots 330ml cans of beer. Both owner and dog are equally chuffed

Its actually pretty infuriating footage. Videoing themselves spraying a handcuffed man in the face with a garden hose. Entirely inexcusable.

Melbourne cops go to town....

... on a disability pensioner. These intelligent coppers failed to check his house for cctv cameras before beating him on his own front lawn.

Re: What have you recently watched?

Just watched Spielberg's Ready Player One on the big screen. This is a visual treat, full of gaming nostalgia, but characters lack any real depth/development Has anyone seen the new Romper Stomper series? Is it good? Thats disappointing to hear, ive been looking forward to that. New romperstomper s...

Re: Revenge of What book are you reading at the moment?

The fall and rise of the Ejected by Jim Brooks (singer). It's not really a book to be honest. It's 30 pages printed on A4 held together with a plastic spine. It would cost about $2 to manufacture and he sells them for $30 bucks each. I borrowed a copy. It's hilariously sad. ' A touch of class ' is a...

Re: Post Apocalyptic or Dystopian films

Im excited about Ready player one I did the audiobook. Is particularly good. It leads you to believe it's some sort of geek 80s retro video game worship, which it is, but it starts twisting to quite dark dystopian shit as it progresses. This is pretty fucked up also. Stars a young Don Johnson pre M...

Feminist orientated indy band Camp Cope. They write good songs. Played at the Thornbury theatre last night. Were really good. Last time i went to that venue i got into a brawl at a Tony Joe white concert. He was boring as shit too, the fight was the only lively thing that happened all evening. Anywa...

Re: Things that really grind my gears....

^^ haha. To be honest i always considered 'Jacinda' to be a pretty white trash name, more so with a 'T' instead of a 'D'. Before Labour's victory I was back home and I met a Jacinda, I chuckled a bit (discreetly), I guess i hadnt been home for a while, maybe im wrong but i haven't met many if any 'J...
