I would have thought that ignoring the event you're there for, and just getting sozzled would be pretty punx. Is it? I'm somewhat out-of-touch with these things..

Re: Workers kill CEO in retaliation for death of Union Leade

Shit's getting real in India. Apparently there is word of a mass strike that could possibly involve tens of thousands - even millions - of people. Repost. Actually, since all I seem to do in current affairs is talk to the bots.. I'll add something else. Anyone read Cory Doctorow's "for the win...

Re: Anyone know their way about iTunes?

Ok, managed to get a fix through reddit - have tidied things up enough so that I can move across to MediaMonkey. Learnt some new things about iTunes in the process that were so intuitive I just assumed they wouldn't work.. You can drag and drop from playlists into system folders, and vice versa. If ...

Re: Anyone know their way about iTunes?

Yeah, I might hop back to media monkey - I used it for a while when my partner moved in and I had to consolidate two libraries. Worked pretty well then, might give it another go. I guess I'm stuck manually building those playlists again..

Re: Anyone know their way about iTunes?

It's iTunes! http://28.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_ly5q4xCps31qzqnxxo1_500.gif Kind of aware of that, what I want to be able to do is bulk edit the playlist files, but when you export playlists in XML/text, it only gives file locations for .mp3s for some reason, and not the .aac ones.. Basically I want ...

Anyone know their way about iTunes?

I've gone and fucked up my media library.. It's a giant mess at the moment. I noticed that my music directory had gotten a bit bloated, and on closer inspection realised that there were double-ups within most of the album folders - eg. 'Song.mp3' and 'Song 1.mp3'. I did a bit of digging online, and ...

Anyone on console run into any problems with the latest patch? Heard talk of resistances (including race-based) being broken - i.e. take full damages from all attacks.

I'm a dark elf and still relatively flame retardent, so I assume it's not hugely widespread?

Wouldn't be surprised if this is a nerfing to keep up with the PC? Could be wrong though. This stuff's only hitting xbox now because of the weird hoops you have to jump through to get a patch certified for live. Would likely be the same stuff that was rolled out a little while back for PC.

Well I guess TV3 knows who they're going to vote for. I mean, most news outlets are pretty clear about which way they lean, but this is some "haha, look at the silly old libertarian" stuff.. I love to see Banks lampooned, but I also like to pretend our media is capable of objective reporti...

Skyrim. So good it has its own thread. Saints Row The Third when my lady wants the telly though. Such a huge improvement over SR2. They've scrapped the whole 'earn respect to unlock the next mission' stuff too, which really bugged me about the last one. Sure you've got awesome minigames, you don't n...

VATS yo If you're into guns and VATS, Skyrim's not going to cut it. First person melee is a tough sell if you're not into it. I'm going to do what I always do. Spend some time crafting a stealthy rogue with a bow, and then end up playing like some sort of bezerker once the game gives me my first big shiny axe.
