Re: Revenge of What book are you reading at the moment?

The Road was the single best reading experience I've had. Fuck it's good. But definitaly grim reading. Got a few more McCarthy's lined up, No Country For Old Men which I haven't seen the movie of and his Horses trilogy. If you like The Road, try reading Blood Meridian and Suttree. Blood Meridian is...

Re: why you should never pay for online dating

You must have had the wrong type of profile fiction. I only ever had 'straight' guys message me wanting to 'hang out', 'watch a dvd', give me a massage if I feel like it, that kinda thing...no 'gay stuff' though, they weren't into that... I think nzdating has almost gotten too big. Way too many drop...

Re: Revenge of What book are you reading at the moment?

Just finished "The Passage" by Justin Cronin. Was quite good, altho I lost a bit of interest after the first third for around 150-200 pages when it kindof jumps the shark, but then it managed to drag me back in. Currently reading "Consolations of Philosophy" by Alain de Botton, a...

none of the sites in nz i know of require you to pay to be able to reply. findsomeone requires you to pay if you want to send the first message. nzdating doesn't require any payment.

Re: punkas members i miss

I guess some of us have just moved on. I don't really have the time to come on here much anymore - especially during the day, and to be fair, I barely listen to much of the music I used to listen to when I was a regular frequenter of this board. Dunno why exactly, but message boards just don't appea...

Re: lets talk about !~flatmates~!

Had an alcoholic flatmate in Wellington. she was quite a hottie in her day, ie 2 years prior to me moving in - she was around 26, alcohol seemed to have affected her looks a lil. Anyway, one night when she was obviously feeling sorry for herself, she put James Blunt's "You're Beautiful" on...
