Re: UK Subs in AK

Fucking AWESOME night. Missed the Rocket Jocks; wasn't fussed. 5th Threat played a pretty mean set. The managers were pretty good but it would have been nice to hear more of their old stuff. UK Subs were even better than when I saw them the year before last. Got a bash to the head in the mosh in abo...

Re: Ahmadinejad Speech At UN

Pert, I don't agree at all with Draconian laws. I was trying to make the point that people from different cultures look at things in very different ways and that government policy will reflect that in carrying out what the majority wants it to do.

Re: Ahmadinejad Speech At UN

CFH does make a good point. Although I am not in favour of the draconian laws that Aidan mentioned, the fact is that people from New Zealand will have a vastly different way of looking at things to people from Iran (generally speaking of course). The history, religious background and culture of the ...

I don't see what the big deal is with this. It isn't a name change, it's a spelling correction. Why are the PC brigade up in arms over this?

Will soon be eating veggie sausages, veggie pattie and a salad.

The demon spawn will be too if she decides that she's ready to get off the step and put away the dishes that were supposed to be done before preschool this morning. Stubborn little toad's been sitting there for an hour and a half.

It would be so much more constructive to get information out there about how to conserve energy and live in a less wasteful way, showing how cheap and easy it is. Stuff like, for example, using half and half vinegar and water as a spray cleaner; making your own muesli bars/biscuits/crackers etc; ha...

I vaguely remember that point being made last year. I was just thinking the same thing though. Its an awareness raising excercise that is completely pointless and won't really make any difference.

are you & your man on the benefit? He's working but he's on jury duty this week so I took my girl to town to meet him for lunch. Why would you take from my previous post that we're both on the benefit? I'm still on the dpb but looking for work, and we're moving in together in the next month or ...

waking up to craig david and chris brown and r.kelly, i dont deserve this shit. You should blast punk music real loud. I was told about the system they have in (I think) Norway, which is that criminals are sent to an island off the mainland and left to fend for themselves. They have to build their own house from scratch and grow all their own food - they're entirely self sufficient. They live in a society of their o...

I don't know a lot about the situation but from what I've read it seems like Israel's actions are comparable to shooting a cornered dog that bites you... could there not be some sort of treaty settlement involving fairly equal distribution of land and living facilities to both Israelis and Palestini...
