Re: Punk jacket thread...
I think scored one of those Hawkins books in the Stokes Valley op shop like 20 years ago. From memory, it was pretty awful but I like the idea of all these shitty, cheap exploitative novels being bashed out by chain smoking, clueless hacks.

Re: Things that really grind my gears....
I'm hoping there'll be enough pressure to rethink cutting it because of the current state of affairs and the fact NSW is going to continue fucking things up for themselves. My work isn't going to pick up any time soon, we'll be waiting for the go ahead for mass gatherings and that's not looking like...

Re: Things that really grind my gears....
At first I thought the 650 on jobkeeper was going to be a bit of a struggle, but all it's really done is highlight how much money I spend on travel and food and shit to compensate for not being at home. Yeah, like I'm not saving at all but I am living pretty luxuriously, cook fancy meals and splurg...

Re: Things that really grind my gears....
Despite all the desperate attempts to spin it as a failure on the part of the supposedly smug NZ population and XtREmE SoshULIsT governmen, it all really just highlights that the biggest failure of right wing governments and journalists is this obsession with rushing back to normality as if this vir...

Packed the final trucks and said goodbye to the last of the 50 odd staff we have had to let go yesterday. Fingers crossed this murky stimulus package exists and can be passed on to staff. Based on what's happening, we're looking at 3 - 6 months of closure with our current cancellations and we can on...

What a hilariously awful interpretation. I think for the most part, they got it exactly right which is precisely why it has offended so many true black metal fuckwits. Oystein was a bumbling, hypocritical idiot. Varg was and still is an insufferable, sociopathic idiot. The whole scene was sheltered,...

Tomato sauce is fucked in Australia, you should bring back an assortment of quality NZ product.
I miss that Whitlocks chutney one all the better chip shops would always have.

If you're after a laugh, the punks pub crawl is on this Saturday. Tsk. What sort of punk can afford to drink in multiple pubs? :baton: I remember seeing these on the news a few years ago. Probably quite fun, but I've got my fair share of chaos, belligerence, shitty attitudes, and fuck authority vib...

kiwi punks are definately the dirtiest This made me realise that basically every old school style punk I've seen in Melbourne have been hilariously clean cut by comparison. There's a guy I occasionally see on my train line who is all patches on his cut off and awful 90's band tees, but they're all ...

I'm definitely not as punx as I may have been, but internally I'm still the same angry at the world piece of shit despite inexplicably finding myself solidly middle class with a very good job. I suppose this could be considered selling out, but it's all on my own terms and as a high school drop out ...

Been to Hobart a couple of times, definitely recommend. My only excursion was a drive out to stay in Bicheno on the coast, and from what I can recall Tassie is basically a place you can go in any direction and find something awesome. Wineglass Bay was beautiful.

Trying to keep a toddler entertained on a 30 degree day. Thought he might be amused by the novelty of a train ride through the country to a particularly good park - he was not. Trains are boring. The park itself was awesome because it has a rocket themed three story slide tower, but no shade. Discov...
