Missed Nvmbskvll, gutted as, but took too long leaving the house and getting sorted. Rogernomix, my new favourite band. Seriously cannot remember the last time I got so pumped watching a NZ hardcore punk band. Mental show... can't wait to see them again. Bulletbelt, stoked to finally see these dudes...

Re: Slingshot Naked Unlimited or Orcon Genius Unlimited?
Went with Compass in the end who are notorious for their rubbish service and support, but couldn't look past the Unlimited Mammoth plan for $80 per month. Surprisingly they have been great to deal with and very helpful. Maintaining a ping of around 40, downstream of about 12mb and torrents coming do...

Carpark in Central Wellington
Hi All, I start a new job in Wellington on Monday 4th March, looking for the cheapest and best way to park in the city as I will be using my car for work to visit clients and I will be working in the Vodafone building on Lambton Quay. Any suggestions that arent any more than $50 per week? Looking cu...

Re: Slingshot Naked Unlimited or Orcon Genius Unlimited?
Signed up with Compass on their Mammoth broadband plan which is unlimited and only $79.95 per month. They had a deal where you could join on no contract, so I thought this would be a good idea before I decide whether or not I need Telstra Cable. I know that Compass has the worst rep ever and is supp...

Slingshot Naked Unlimited or Orcon Genius Unlimited?
Ok, so looking at the options for Wellington it seems that ADSL2 will be a far cheaper options than Cable / VDSL and aside from the upload speeds not too much of a compromise. So narrowing it down naturally to either Slingshot or Orcon (I could give or take the VoIP line to be honest...) what would ...

Best ISP in Wellington?
Moving to Wellington in a few weeks. Got a house in Crofton Downs. Can anyone suggest the best way to go for fast, uncapped internet? Been spoiled here in Gisborne with a provider called Evolution Wireless where I pay $90+GST per month for all you can eat and get a dish on my roof that gets me this:...

SOIA are heading straight back to the US after Australia so no chance of getting them here. Got an offer for Agnostic Front for a NZ show on a Sunday... flights from Perth to Auckland alone are $3k though, before their guarantee or ground costs. So looking like 200 payers at $40 to make it worthwhil...

THE VOYAGE added to Hamilton show I can't think of many bands more inappropriate to open for Ringworm. I have to agree with you there... That was my first exact response when they asked to be put on a bill to start with. I actually turned them down a couple of times, it was only after quite a fair ...

Re: Street Fighter 4!
I know... my internet speed for gaming seems to be horrible.
Always lagging on NZ games... it sucks.
We have satellite internet (unlimited) at home so it doesnt make sense to switch back to fixed line, but
getting naked broadband with vodafone for gaming might be an option if it improves things.
