Hydrometers are easy. Get a measuring cylinder from payless plastics, put the hydrometer in, fill with whatever you're brewing until it floats, read it where the liquid touches the scale and remember to read from the bottom of the miniscus. Nah, the venue itself isn't that bad.

It's the immature tards who turn up and the fines you get for trying to have a beer outside.

Plus the fact I'm not really keen on SHOS and I've got a cold kinda seals the deal.

Might still turn up yet though.

I dunno how that would work.

The mashing process creates sugars that would then have to be removed from the wort somehow - doesn't make sense to me.

You should try Young's Double Chocolate Stout.

Some supermarkets have it buy the 500mL bottle.

Another example of the how Bio-fuel is fucked!

Same deal with barely growers in Europe.

That coupled with the low hop harvest this season beer prices will probably start to go up.

Sounds good. Brewing a highish gravity belgian style beer is on my list of things to do. Hopefully I can find a decent dry yeast, not really all that keen on buying liquid yeast through realbeer. I had to brew the wheat with Safale K-97, it's a nice, tart, thirst quencher but didn't have the clovey-ness I was looking for. Ther...
