Re: Telecom 'Big Time' Plan
ring telecom and express your distaste and being pulled off go large, apparently thousands of people have been doing it and they may potentially revoke the decision if comcom get involved, there's a big chance they won't be allowed to do it. it was advertised as unlimited with no contract length, so...

Re: Watchmen (movie)
I liked how well choreographed the fight scenes in the jail and the alley were. It seems to be a very signature Zack Snyder thing, (Dawn of the Dead, 300) where it's actually believable that a whole bunch of people are attacking and being fought off. In other films, (the worst one that comes to mind...

Re: PIGS!
yeah i dont actually know what constitutes r18, i would definitely expect at least hardcore violence or explicit sex, but i imagine that the broadcasting standards authority would have a real anal list of what could make the cut like selling drugs in a film might make it etc have you ever seen that ...

Re: PIGS!
what is the content you focus on to want an r18 flick?
probably better to go for genre or directors that work on stuff you like rather than rating.

Re: Proposed three-strike law may breach fundamental rights
Well I guess the thing is that a '3 strikes' law isn't rooted anything really constructive and is just an easy to understand band-aid type policy put up to appease the numbskull public who need sports references in everything. It's not sensible, and is more rooted in the catch-phrase itself than an...

Re: Proposed three-strike law may breach fundamental rights
It was probably media histrionics more than anything, but I remember a couple of stories in California when they introduced the three-strikes approach there. What was happening was that offenders faced with a third arrest would either commit ultra-serious crimes or else go on dangerous flights for ...

Re: Proposed three-strike law may breach fundamental rights
personally i think it's a bit whack that people can go to jail for four years for killing someone and get out on good behaviour early, but the three strikes law is a logistical nightmare, not to mention the fact that there would be no more room in jail pretty quickly. its not so much that sentencing...

hmm Im not a fan of crunchy burgers, soft buns FTW. I think the crucial word is lightly. Lightly toasted. Or, better, cut in two, then put under the grill, so the side facing the toppings/innards is mildly crisped, but the outer is soft and chewable and good. exactly this, although if the bun is se...

i dont think the vanilla soy milk would cut it though
