Re: Tape Terror in Dunedin

LSD Fundraiser is just one guy, Dean, who i know reasonably well. Generally keeps to himself but very passionate about listening to and creating, music. Mainly noisy, esoteric type of stuff, also the driving force behind a band called Wolfskull. Definitely comes across as a harmless individual that ...

Re: VictorBazooka's 50th, Port Chalmers, 4-2-2017

We had hoped that the special guests were gonna be CONNIPTION with Victor and Lance sharing the same birthday, but unfortunately Lance will be unable to attend. The final lineup is now confirmed with the addition of the sexy and spectacular FERAL HUNKS, and the deep south deroes SUICIDE BOMBERS, giv...

Re: The Johnny Von Kobra Memorial Thread

Very bizarre for me to read this thread all these years later and now i've been with Jennie for over 4 years and Adam and BLee and Cale and Julia are all real good friends of mine that i've had heaps of mad times with and i didn't even KNOW them back then. Seems a bit surreal. Oh how i wish they sti...

Re: Gripper + Bazooka: Auck, Ham, June 2,3,4 -2017

I think that's the darkest thing I've seen Xoe do. Very, very cool. Same here! I'd mainly just seen all her colour work, murals and paintings, so i was blown away by this, although its not that surprising considering how talented she is. This was very reasonably priced too so if anyone wants a post...

yeah, its always sad to hear shit like this, no matter where it is. Sounds like it would've been a cool place to hang out, especially for a kiwi just arriving in Australia.

Re: Where would you move to in NZ?

Bolshy, do you commute to Dunedin from Milton? Nah, i work down in Balclutha, a measly 20km away, but still travel into Dunedin at least 2 or 3 times a week. Ppl tend to do that, then get down there and go cray from the lonelies. Got a gf in Dunedin going thru this at the moment.. Surely thats more...

Re: Where would you move to in NZ?

Thought about the Wairarapa, just not sure what I'd do there or if the commute would be viable. Looks ideal though in plenty of ways, though I'm still romanticising down south a bit. Re: Where would you move to in NZ?

Houses are still very affordable in South Otago, in comparison to other areas anyway, and that includes renting. People constantly ask "what the fuck are you doing in Milton??", and its still a surprise to me that i'm here but it helps that i only pay $160 a week for a tidy 3 bedroom cotta...
