Slaughterama magazine are compiling another covermount CD to feature NZ's best Metal. If you have a track you'd like Metal fans to hear which is not under control of any record company, and you have the authority to give us the right to use it on the CD, get in touch with me via slaughtermail@gmail.com asap.

Cheers
Brendon

It sure is, but there's lots of MetalHeads on here, and people like me who like both. Punk and Metal have a lot of common ground. Personally, I'm a massive fan of the Metal and punk that came out of New York from in seventies/eighties which is strongly linked in many aspects of overall sound, energy and larger-than-life attitude... Plasmatics, Ramones, Dictators, and also Hard Rock/Metal counterparts like Twisted Sister and Manowar. The Dictators had Mark "The Animal" Mendoza who went off to Twisted Sister, and Ross "The Boss" who went on to create Manowar with Joey DeMaio. Great concert from The Dictators a few years back when they came to NZ too. Got to meet Ross The Boss; one of my personal heroes and an icon of both Metal and classic American Punk Rock.

All slots now filled.

Due to the great response, we may begin doing regular compilation CDs, so you may want to consider contacting me if your band is releasing something new and you want to give away a sampler song to promote your release.
